Genesis 18:17-18 -Abraham’s Seed shall bless all nations.

NT Fulfillment: Acts 3:25-26  -Jesus was the fulfillment of the promised seed through all the nations of the world would receive the blessing of God.  In Him the penalty for sin was canceled and through his resurrection the powers of this world were defeated.  Jesus’ disciples were instructed to take this message of redemption and victory to the entire world that men might believe and be saved.

Messianic Prophecy

Genesis 3:14-15 has the proto-evangelium or the first gospel prophecy that God would send a redeemer, the seed of the woman, who would bruise the head of the serpent.  NT Fulfillment: 1 John 3:8, Hebrews 2:14:   The shedding of Christ’s blood provided the redemption for those who place their faith in Christ.
